Unzip the .bin files to your Thief 2/obj directory, and put
the .gif's in Thief 2/obj/txt16 folder, as per usual.

Dromed installation:

Editors>Object heirarchy>physical>rowboat>

Click the ADD button with "rowboat" highlighted, type in
"sailboat" in the resulting box, hit OK. Double-click the
new sailboat, click the ADD button >shape>model name
type in "sailboat", click OK.

Create the sailboat, then click the Properties box at the
bottom of Dromed's screen. Under Physics, open the Model
subtree and double-click Dimensions. Type in these values:

Offset: X= 0, Y= 2, z= 0
Size: x= 19, y= 70, z=50

You also may want to ADD > Physics > AI collides with
And ADD > AI > Utility > Pathable object (and uncheck the box).

Note that this is an object, not like the sailboat in the original
Thief game. All objects are surrounded by bounding boxes (the
big rectangle you see in dromed). Thus, there's no way to specify
to the game that the deck is a certain size, the position of the
mast and sail, etc... in order to climb on the boat. The only
thing you could do (as far as I know) is to change the Z value in
Dimensions (you may have to offset it with a negative number a bit)
and make the deck the "top" of the bounding box. I believe this
may make the mast and cabin phantom (can walk through walls)...
I dunno, I just build stuff ;) Like most of Dromed, you have to
experiment. Don't forget that there's a "pirate" that comes with
Thief that isn't listed in the Object Heirarchy. HIghlight a human
and click the ADD button, type in pirate, double-click pirate and
ADD > Shape > Model name > "pirate" and you'll have him.

Also note that this sailboat has a fairly large keel, so
you'll need to place it by hand at whatever level you want it to
sit in the water. Enjoy!

Feel free to use and distribute these files. They are free for use,
as long as they are not used in any commercial venture. Plz mention
me in the credits if you use my stuff.
